A note from the tech: I service marine AC and refrigeration for a living, and the number-one failure I see is a raw-water pump running dry because the strainer clogged. If you're ordering an AC pump, order the strainer basket and a spare impeller in the same cart. For freshwater pumps, match the pressure switch setting to your accumulator — a Par-Max 3 on a boat with no accumulator will cycle itself to death in a season.
